Where does the time go?

I can't believe it has been 8 months since my last post.  To be cliche, time really does fly.   Do I start from here? Do I try to fill in the gap?  I don't know.  For today, let me just say Happy Labor Day and post a picture (if I can from my mobile device) of one of my projects.

I don't make resolutions

I don't make resolutions.  Yet, here I am on January 1, 2013 thinking about things that I would like to do.  Actually, I do that all year long.  Things fall off the list and other things are added. I decided I wanted to try to document my year.  I figure that it will help me at year's end for items to include in my bi-annual holiday newsletter.  Besides, if I don't document then I won't have anything to write in this blog.

My to-do list has categories.  Hobby, health, personal, professional.  I will share as many of these as I can with you.  Some I will not because I think you might be bored or I feel that it may infringe on my family's privacy.  I am blogging; they are not.  Other things I might share with you because I am excited or proud of something happening in my life.  Whatever it is, I will try to do it with humility and humor.  I hope you will enjoy the journey with me.
